I am 41 years old, born and raised in this region. In my professional career I have been a founder and investor in Several IT related companies. Before I started Sabi I was working with EMC, a large American IT company, heading up their Consultancy Services in Norway. I am married and have a 9 year old girl.

Triwa Limited Edition Timepieces by SupaKitch & Koralie

SupaKitch & Koralie – one of my favorite duos – is at it again! There are now two Triwa Limited Edition Timepieces that you can buy!

This is a limited edition watch, made in collaboration with the French street artist SupaKitch. The watch features a dark brown, wood pattern dial with brown chronograph sub-dials, a bright red second hand, silver hour index markers and an inner ring displaying minutes. The watch is set within a wood pattern acetate case with steel case back and mineral glass. The chronograph detailing compliments the fixed silver tone metal bezel, crown & push buttons and TRIWA logo proudly set at 12 o’clock. Buy it here!

This is a limited edition watch, made in collaboration with the French street artist Koralie. The watch features Koralie´s characteristic patterns on the dial, with contrasting lime green sub dials and bright pink hands. The watch is set within an ivory white acetate case with steel case back, mineral glass and a ivory white fixed bezel. Buy it here!

Breiavannet Park by Helen & Hard

Breiavannet Park was built in 2009. It is a stunning piece of modern architecture that is well worth noting when in the Stavanger Setnrum. If you were to walk by, it is hard to miss with its strong exterior with bright green color blocking.

There is currently a 3 bedroom, 2 bath penthouse for sale in the building that is up for 7 500 000 kr-. (For the time being you can see more about it on finn.no)

The project’s location, in the center of Stavanger’s historical wooden house district, produced interesting architectural challenges. With the district regulated as a special zone for preservation, the project aimed to knit the language of the local vernacular with that of contemporary architecture.

The building was divided into three volumes creating a rhythm that echos and interacts with the historic houses across the street. The roof forms terminate lower than might be expected, breaking up the volume and creating a relationship with neighboring houses. Wood siding has been used as a façade material while parti-walls and floors are constructed from concrete.
